Two inebriates appeared before Mr. F...V .Frazer, S.M:, in the' Magistrate's Court; thi. " morning. One'Wasa, first offender,.'"who .was fined- 55,; with the alternative of 24 hours' imprisonment.
Michael. Martin, an old offender, was convicted of drunkenness, a breach of his prohibition order, and the committal of a gross' indecent act in -Willisstreet at„ 6.30 yesterday evening. ' He had bean before the Court yesterday for drunkenness add fined £3: His Worship commented on the increase in cases of indecency 'in1 public places, and sent him to gaol for fourteen days. ' ' ■'■■- This morning a prohibition order/by consent was granted against Francis H. Edwards.'' Messrs. 'James, Kerr ancl.E. Jones, J.P.s, occupied the Bench.
