BUTTER AND CHEESE CONTROL.
The National Dairy Association' has 'received confirmation of the British Government's intention not to purchase the Canadian cheese exportable surplus for this current season. The association is also advised by cable from London that the Government has fixed the retail prico of cheese in England at Is fid per lb. English cheese is to lie decontrolled at the end o! this month, and free sales with' .no maximum prices are expected in the case of that article. There is no change .in the control of butter.
A small percentage of Canadian cheese is selling in London at 150s per cwt.
