NAPIER, 3rd June. The inter-union Rugby match between Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay was played to-day.in brilliant weather, in the presence of about 2500 spectators. A fast, fairly open game ended in favour oi* Hawkes Bay by 18 points (tries by Paena_ (2), Greenside and Mitchell, threo of which were converted by Findlay) to 3 points (a try by James). There was not a great deal of difference between the teams, but the home side made no mistakes when an opening offered.
