The first Soccer representative football match since tho war was played at Cook's Gardens to-day, between a Wellington touring Association team and Wanganui representatives. The struggle, which was of an interesting nature, ended iv a draw, each side scoring a goal. Right through the game was more marked by individualism , than combination, although ■ there were a good many bright glimpses of combination play, and the fluctuations of the match, particularly when the home side was in tho ascendency, created great enthusiasm among the spectators. Randall kicked a goal for Wellington, and Beckett kick a goal from a penalty shot for Wanganui.
