AMERICAN SENATOR ON THE NATIONS' LEAGUE.

Senator Johnson, speaking in the Senate, said that the League of Nations in reality was a great war trust, and was certain to cause wars in the future. It had rivetted in a chain of tyranny millions of Chinese through the Shantung decision. The peace of open covenants was a joke and a byword.
