INFLUENZA COMMISSION

j TO TUB EMTOB. Sir, —Some.time ago a fuss was made because the Influenza Commission report was sent direct to the Governor-General. I understand the Commission presented an interim report. This report, must surely be of some interest to the public, and must also contain some recommendations for the guidance of the people in case of a recrudescence of the epidemic. It seems to me that the delay in publishing it is to be condemned. It would be interesting-'to know just why the powers tbat be are holding up the information from the public. Has' the Government decided that the "flu is not corning back?—l am, etc., N.Z.M.Q.
