ANOTHER 5445 ON THE WAY.
Official advice has been received that another five transports have left the United Kingdom for the Dominion with 5445 New Zealand troops on board. The particulars are as follow: — Waimana, (Returning Draft No. 257): Left United Kingdom 10th May; due at Auckland about 21st June. Draft comprises 167S troops. Frinz Essen (Returning Drait No. 258): Left United Kingdom 15th May; due.at Wellington about Ist July. Draft comprises 567 troops, 6 civilians, 81 women, 19 children. Maunganui (Returning Draft No. 259): Left United Kingdom 17th May; due at Port Chalmers about 2nd July. Draft comprises 1128 troops. Ruahine (Returning Draft No. 260): Left United Kingdom 19th May; due New Zealand about 4th July. Draft comprises 859 troops, 11 civilians, 139 women, 35 children. Tahiti (Returning Draft No. 261): Left United Kingdom 27th May; duo at Auckland about 16th July. Draft comprises 1216. troops.
