PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
That Ldla Lee lias already become a firm favourite is evidenced' by the crowded houses at the Paramount Theatre, where she is seen in the photoplay, "The Cruise of the Make Believes." The story is a romantic one, with a tinge of patho3 and a touch of humour. The events and the course of a young slum girl's life are the main factors in the play. A society millionaire falls in love with her and has her removed from the slums, and she ts given a beautiful country home to live in. But eventually she realises that an explanation made by her father is false, and returns home. 'How the millionaire finds her once again, and confesses his love, forms an ideal climax. A good supporting programme is shown, while a special feature is the music provided by the Paramount Orchestra.
