METHODIST ANNIVERSARY

The anniversary services of the Donald M'Lean-street Methodist Sunday School were held yesterday, when special hymns were sung by the scholars ; Tho Rev. A. Reader occupied the pulpit in the morning and also at tho aftornoon service, when he delivered a very effective address to the children, taking as his theme the building of a Christlike character. The Rev. Dr Pinfold preached in the evening, taking as his topic "The value of a child." The celebrations will bo concluded on Wednesday night next with a public meeting, when the special singing will again be- a feature and several elocutionary and vocal items by well-known artists'will bo incuded in the programme.
