Playing at No. 1 Ground, Athletic Park, Hutt defeated Wellington College by 21 points to 14. It was a good open game throughout, but the Hutt men 'were superior in weight, and this told its tale. In the first spell Benge scored for Hutt, and this try Grierson converted. . In the closing stages of the game, however, Hutt rallied strongly, and J Osborne and Hazelwood scored, one of the tries being converted by'Grierson. Hutt thus won by 21 points to 14. Mr. ,R.
