Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co. to-day received tho following cablo from their correspondents at Montreal, under date 19th May:—"English Govornrnont not purchasing Canadian choose output. British retail price Is 6d per pound. Market horo 151s to 156s per cwt." Tho news will bo of great interest to dairy formers in .Now Zealand. Their contract with tho Imperial Government to sell cheese oxpircs on. 31«t July, 1920, and tho price for lirst-grado choc3o is 10Jd per pound, equal to 100s 4d per cwt., f.o.b, Now Zealand ports. Last season's Canadian output of checso was sold to tho Imperial Government at 23 cents, or lljd per pound, f.o.b. Montreal. . •
