Hundreds of Circassians were sent to Midia, on the Black Sea, and instructed to harass the Bulgarian communications. The first attempt failed, the Circassians being ambushed and wiped out. There has been no important engagement at Chataldeja, while fifteen thousand Turks have been killed or wounded at Bulair, near the Dardanelles. The Bulgarians have already buried 2500 Turks, and there are 3000 corpses still scattered about the field.
