POST AND TELEGRAPH MATCH
WELLINGTON MEN DEFEATED. (BT TEtSGKAPH— rBESS ASSOCIATION.) , CHEISTCHURCH, 11th Feb. The match between representatives of the Post and Telegraph Office of Christchurch and Wellington was continued today. Wellington lost their two remaining wickets for the first -innings with only an additional two ruus, bringing their, total to 129. Following on, Wellington in their second innings made a better stand, Hickson playing a fine game for- a total of 1 313 ; - whilst Tvnapp (63) also gave a good display. ChristchUrch were given 10? to win, and ( these were gained with the loss of six wickets, the victory being mainly due to the efforts of Franciß. Details -"are as follow : — ■ . WELLINGTON P. AND T.
