LODGE MEETING
The weekly session . v of the Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.Q.G.T., was held in the Rechabite Hall, Manners-street, ort Monday night, Bro. H. J. Millan, C.T., presiding. One candidate was initiated. After the routine busihess had been dealt with the lodge was thrown open to visitors, the hall being < crowded. A splendid programme, consisting of songs, recitations, (arranged by Sisters Allan and Diggle) was contributed to by Misses Miller, Porteous, Peake, and Pepper, Mesdames Patience, Bolt, and Miller, and Mr. Miller. Special mention is due to Master for his fine reciting. Included iin the programme Was a novelty competition entitled "The Perplexing Ass." Tho w;inner was Miss- D. Robinson, who received a handsome cushion presented by Mrs. Diggle. _ A hearty vote of thanks to all who assisted brought to a close a very pleasant evening.
