CHRISTCHURCH, 10th Feb.- ■ "In connection -with the. charge against Charles Jame6 Russell •of having attempted illegally, to. procure abortion, which was adjournea at-tho last session of tho .Supreme Court, an application was made to-day for" further adjournment, Hia Honour, "together with counsel ior accused, and Mr. T. . W. Stringer, K.C., held a short consultation, and, the application for adjournment was refused. Tho case will proceed' this session, probably to-morrow.
