ANNUAL POST AND TELEGRAPH MATCH WELLINGTON v. CHRISTCHURCH. (B7 TBI/EGBAPH~rBESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 10th Feb. Representatives of the Post and Telegraph Office, Christchurch, and Post ! and Telegraph Office, Wellington, began j their annual cricket match ■at Hagley Park to-day on a good batsmen's wicket. Christcharch won the toss, and elected to bat, and put up a score of 268.. The feature of the innings was the batting of Shand,, who compiled 126 by sound cricket, and carried his bat. Wellington replied by scoring 127 for eight wickets, Hick son being the mainstay of the team. Details' are as follow:— . Christchurch P. and T.
