NORTHCOTE CUP YACHT RACE. 8j Telegraph — Press Association,— Copjrigtn MELBOURNE, Bth February. In the first race for the Northcote Cup — a three miles' beat to windward and a run back/ twice round the starting point from Gellibrand light — Rawhiti 11. (challenger) beat the Victorian yacht Killara (defender) by Ihr 37min. In the second race — twice round a square course — Rawhiti finished a mile and a-half ahead of her rival. Choppyconditions prevailed for both races, which favoured the winner (Rawhiti). which won the two races straight out. The third race was not sailed.
