The secretary of the Ross Goldfields •Reconstructed received the following telegram from the mine superintendent (Mr. Cock) tcday :— "Mine unwatered 6.30 , a.m. > yesterday. No. 1 stationary pump installed and working well. Will instal No. 2 pump ' to-day. 1 Expect resume underground to-morrow morning..
To-morrow, at 12.30 p.m.,' Messrs. A L Wilson and Co/, will hold a large sale of 400 lots of household furniture, including Upright grand Neufeld piano, at the resideflce, 72, Webb-street, on account of Mrs. Lachtnan, who is giving up houso1 keeping'
