MATTRESS FACTORY DAMAGED
'(«* ratEQRAPS— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI, This Day. The top-story of a building occupied toy the Hart Mattfese Factory was gutted by fire this morning. A lot of the stock was damaged, also the plant, by fire or water, bat the insurances are unknown, as the owner was out of town.
Mr. W. Vtyov, secretary of the Employers' Federation, leaves this evening for Dunedin, where he will attend a Hitting of the' Arbitration Court on Wednesday next. Subsequently Mr. Pryor goes to ChristchuTehy where the Cotirt will git on 19th inst. On Wednesday, as 1 p.m., Messrs. Thompson Bros,, Ltd., will sell on the premises, Panama-street, the Adelphi Cafe and Tea Rooms as a going concern, to*, gather with lease having about three year* to run. In the event of a satisfactory offer not being made, the contents will be sold in lots to suit buyers, Goods will be on* View on' Wednesday at the premise*, from 9 a.m.
