Chemists throughout Argentina closed their premises as & protest against the onerous tax on pharmaceutical prepara* tions and perfumes. Hairdressers ahd other tradesmen supported the movement. SHOPS RE-OPENED. (Received February 10, 10 a.m.) * BUENOS AIRES, 9th Februarj The chemists have re-opened their shops, following the suspension, of the Act. A Commission has been appointed to consider modifications in the measure.
