ATTITUDE OF WATERSIDE WORKERS TIMARU. 7th February.
Local watersiders state that they have had no word from the Federation of Labour about supporting slaughtermen (who aro not Federationists) and the secretary does not anticipate such instructions. In the absence of such instructions, the men would not scruple to handlefr'ec labour meat. The Gisborne watersiders, he states, are on a different footing, being unfederated.
