In reply to the 105 Radical members of the House of Commons, who memorialised the Chancellor of the Exchequer, expressing the hope that he would take advantage of the prevailing prosperity to reduce the present taxe» on lood, particularly on sugar and tea, the ground of the request being that these taxes fall on tho poorest, and their removal would make Freetrade secure, Mr. Lloyd George says that it' is impossible to comply with the request in tho coming Budget. ' '
