Initial steps were taken this mornk'g in connection with the erection of a building in the Hospital Grounds for the treatment of delirium tremens cases. After a meeting of the board in committee, the members inspected proposed sites, and decided in favour of one adjoining tho Coroner's Court. The Government has undertaken to erect a suitable building, capable of accommodating, say, three or four patients, at one time, and relief is felt by those connected with the hospital administration that at last a noisy class of patient is to be kept apart from the inmates of' the hospital. Recommendations are to be made to the Government forthwith ' concerning the class of building desir-ed.
