' (BT TELEGBAPH— SFECIAti TO THB POST.) DUNEDIN, This Day. Reports ' from the country state that feathered game is plentiful this year on tho Taieri Swamps. In particular, ducks and pukakis are reported to have bred exceedingly well this year. Unfortunately for \ sportsmen (ducks will have a different view of things), there has to be no game Bhoofcing this year unless the Minister of Internal Affairs, who has discretionary power, agrees to declare an open season.
