WORKING MEN'S CLUB
A ballot fov the election of officers for the ensuing half-year wa.s conducted by the members of the Wellington "Working Men's Clnh yesterday, with the following results: President, Mr. J. M'Nee; vice-president, Mr. J. Graham; tieasurer, Mr. A. Fish : committee, Messrs J. Anderson, W. J. Lightfoot, W. Perry, J. Finucane, W. J. Smith, P. Wood, 11. Tredig,in, and D. H. M'Fic. Tho newly-elected officers returned thanks for their election. It was dwided that the dub should hold a picnic in the nea' future, piobably at the cud of the present month or early in .March.
