FATAL RIOT IN SYDNEY
ASSAILANT'S NAME REFUSED. "WHAT'S THE USE OF TELLING." By Telegraph.— Press A&nociation.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 4th February. At the inquest on Alexander Fulton, who was stabbled and killed in a riot in Market-street by an unknown assailant in December, a constable testified that Fulton, on being interrogated in the hospital as to . who had stabbed him, replied. "What's the use of telling? If I die, he will get seven years. If I recover, I will get even with him myself." The Coroner, in adjourning the inquest, said he was not at all satisfied, and was convinced that the witnesses knew considerably more than they had told.
