The postal authorities advise that the undeimentioned vessels, should be within wireless range of the Wellington and Auckland stations this evening :— Victoria (bound frdm Wellington to Sydney, via northern ports), Wirnmera (from Sydney to Wellington, via northern ports), Manuka (from Melbourne and Hobart to Wellington via southern ports), Moeraki (from Wellington to Melbourne, via southern ports and Hobart;, and Delphic (from Wellington to Bluft). She is one of the best known vessels employed in the United King-dom-Australia-New Zealand trade, and was built by Hawthorn, Leslie, and Company in 1896. Together with other vessels, she maintained the service carried on by the Federal-lloulder-Shire lines, and later the F. and S. lines, alwaj s maintaining a. reputation for speed and safe conveyance of "cargo. She is of 6072 tons gross and 3954 tons register, and, according to the report, was acquired by foreigners. No price was, however, stated. The Tarawera is to leave Lyttelton for Wellington on her northern run at S o'clock this evening. She is due in some time after 8 to-morrow morning. At 11.30 a.m. to-day tho- New Zealand Shipping Company's s.s. Huruuui arrivecK from Napier to costume loading. She anchored in the stream, and will not berth until 6 a.m. tomorrow. The Kini leaves to-morrow evening for Greymouth, and then loads for Wellington a&Uin. The Koonya left last night for Oreymouth. She is'due back, on Friday next. . At 0 p.m. yesterday the Knrdmu .left Lytteltdn for Wellincton, via. Nelson, where she picks up ii load of wool. She is due here on Friday next. \ The Komata left Westport at 0 a.m. to-day for Wellington, and is due here to-morrow morning. At noon to-day the Haupiri left New Pljmouth. She is due here early to-morrow morning, and sails at noon again for Picton, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Onehunga. The Anchor Line's steamer Nikau was to-day laid up on the hard at Nelson. While undergoing overhaul, she will be relieved by the Kaitoa, which Vessel will not, however, take passengers. The Nikau will probably resume running on Monday next. The Star of India is now expected to gel away from Wellington for London, via way ports, at daybreak to-morrow, j*
