LLOYD GEORGE'S CAMPAIGN IMPROVING LABOURERS* CONDITIONS FARMING ON SCIENTIFIC BASIS. By telegraph.— ft** Association.— copyright, • LONDON, 3vd February. The Daily ' News states that Mr. Lloyd George will commehce his plat« form campaign in favour of land reform in March. He seeks a mandate for next Parliament to secure for the agricultural labourer a pound a week, if necessary by statute; secondly, he proposes that the labourer shall be enabled to rent a cottage and allotment independently of his employer. Mr. Lloyd George also proposes, that farming shall be placed on a scientific basis, with co-operative credit for buying and selling. He further advocates large urban rating reforms. • ' ,1 —
