'The conditions were ten shots at 900 and 1000 y.irds. Rifleman J. Burns topped tho score for the' day with 82 out of the possible 100, his ecor'o .including- a well-compiled 45 at 1000 yards. Rifleman J. C. Low again shot w,ell, and his score >gives-. him a fur-ther-lead of four .points .from Marshall for the club's championship. Tho match concluded the club's- longrange aggregate competition for the seasoh, the.winnor being President Marshall, with Rifleman G. Tinhey, four points away, second. . The winner's total .works out at 1 an average of just, under 79 points per match— a Very- good performance considering the very ' .difficult conditions under which most, of the ■ long-range matches have been conducted.
