Marauders attacked a detachment of French tirailleurs in the Adrar (NorthWest Africa) district. The tirailleurs made a heroic resistance. They lost heavily, among the killed being a lieutenant and three non-com-missioned officers. A column of irregulars ia now pursuing the marauders.
