Butter. — Tho market is dull, except for best quality. The average price for tho week for choicest New Zealand butter, per cwt, is 113s; Australian, 107s; Argentine, 105s; Danish, 127s j Siberian, 109s. Cheese. — The market is quietj but holders are firm. The demand is getting belter. The average price for tho week for finest New Zealand cheese, per owt, is 60s 6d. Hemp. — The market is firm, owing to speculative demand. Spot — N.Z. good fair grade per ton, £34 ; fair grade, £32 10s; forward shipment, nbout "the same price. Fair current Manila — Spot, per ton, £34; forward shipment, £35 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 20,000 bales. Wool. — The market is strong. All stocks are advancing. Hops. — Tho market is firm, with hardening tendency. Wheat. — The market is firmer. There is more demand. N.Z. longberried wheat, ex granary, per quarter of 4961b5, 38s; shortberrieel, 37«. \ Oats. — The market is quiet. A large supply N.Z. oats, short sparrow bills, exgranary, per quarter of 384-lbs, 245; Da-nish, por quarter of 3201b5, 235. Br>ans. — Tho market is firm, owing to rertuood supplies. N.Z. beans, F., new crop, por 5041b5, 40s. Peas. — The market it, very quiet. N.Z. ■pens (Partridge), per 5041b5, 37s 6d. Eggs. — New Zealand, 8s per 120.
