CYCLONE ON QUEENSLAND COAST

The steamer Intiamincka, 2501 tone, belonging to the Adelaide Steamship Company, is fast ashore on tho Alexandra Reef. 26 miles north of Cairns. Siie was bound from Cairns. U» Melbourne, but was blown out of ht>r course by the cyclone. The company lias despatched the Kulandn. to tho scene. The postmaster has received a telegram from Port Douglas stating that the vessel is on Wentworth Reef, nnd that it is {'robable she will be refloated without damage. Communication with Cairns is inter* lupted. The officers and crew on board the Innamincka number fifty-six. (Rucehct I'cbruary 1. 9.55 a.m.) BRISBANE. This Day. When last heard of prior to tho pre* rent mishap the vessel was sheltering under Cape Oral ton. It is dilhcult to understand how she got twcnty-fivo miles north.
