At the Political and Labour League Conference feeling reference was made to the subject of high rents. It was announced that this would be a burning question at the Federal and State elections from a Labour standpoint. Mr. Griffith, Minister for Public Works, in a speech, said that he intended to introduce a Fair Bents Bill and establish model workers' suburbs. The conference passed a resolution in favour of a cessation of restricted immigration.
