SHIP'S BUOY AND HATCH FOUND
AN EXPLANATION. (IJV TELEGRAPH—- PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 31ft January. > In explanation of the finding of a ship's buoy and hatch on the West Coast, this buoy bearing the names "Ulimaroa" Mid "Laira," it is explained that -the HuddardParker Company purchased the Laira, for a hulk, and that probably the barque'« buoys were removed to tho steamer. Presumably the buoy and hatch belonged to the Ulimarioa and were vva&hed overboard during heavy weather iti the Tasrnan Sea. on tho kit voyage froln Sydhej to Wellington. .
