BANKRUPTCY LAWS-ALLEGED BREACHES
AUCKLAND, 30th January. A bankrupt named Robert Ambrose Miles, was charged to-day with having contracted debts without having reasonable and probable expectations of being able to pay them, as well as other debts against him ; ako with failing to keep proper account books. ' Accused reserved his defence, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
