While the Indra liner Indralema, a steel vessel of 6669 tons gross, was going to Liverpool, she collided with the steamer Trooper, 958 tons gross, off Dungeness, in the English Channel. The Trooper sank. While she was going down her crew climbed robes and reached the Indralema's deck, all escaping. [The Trooper was a steel vessel, built in 1902 by J. P. Rennoldson and Sons, South Shields. She was owned by the Fisher - Renwick Manchester - London Steamers, Ltd.]
