SAN FRANCISCO BOATS.
MAITAI TO REPLACE AORANGI FOR NEXT TRD?. ' The Union Company has decided to replace the Aorangi, which was to leave on . 3rd May for San Francisco, by the Maitai. The sailing date for San Francisco will- Temain unchanged. The Aorangi'e next trip_to San Francisco will be commenced on the 31st May. On 28th June the Maitai will leave for the same destination. The Maitai is at present on her way from the American port, and is due at Wellington on Thursday. WIRELESS FROM MAITAI. A wireless received by the Union Steamship Company last night from the Maitai, bound from San Francisco to Wellington, states that the vessel will make port on Thursday morning.
