On the application of Sub-Inspector Sheehan, hi 6 Worship deferred sentence until to-morrow. John Hyde," Mary Latham, and Ada ' Curry appeared blfore Mr. F. Cohen at- -the Mount Cook Police Court this morning on charges, of drunkenness, and were each fined 10s. the alternative being fixed at 48 hours' imprisonment. Oliver Dumford and two .first offenders also ap•peared on similar charges and were convicted and discharged.
