SUNDAY-SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.
♦ The anniversary of the Kaiwarra Sunday School was celebrated yesterday. Services were held at 7 a.m., 3 and 6.60 p.m. R«v. C. H. Olds preached in the morning and afternoon, Mr. J. W. Black taking the evening service. There was special singing by the scholars under the baton of Sir. Ronald Cameron. Miss Smythe presided at the organ.
A start was made last week in effecting necessary alterations to the Harbour Board sheds which are to be used for the Coronation Exhibition. Ticket boxes, the annexe, and other outside work was to have been started to-day, but the wet weather did not allow it. The asphalting of the large J shed is nearing completion, and when it is finished the Exhibition Committee will take it over. The upper floor, which is to" be used for I .sports gatherings, should be an ideal place for the purpose. Mr. S. J.
