QUEENSLAND LOAN.
PROSPECTUS ISSUED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 22nd April. Tho Queensland £2,000,000 3 per cent, loan prospectus has been issued. Six months' interest is payable for the period up till Ist July. Stock is redeemable after 1959, but the date of maturity of the loan is 1970. The Daily Mail comments on the length of the term and states that the existing loans yield more owing to earlier redemptions.
