Apropos the statements made in thei press that, at the eleventh hour, G.Gray, the Australian billiard player, refused to play E. Diggle with bonzoline balls, Gray's solicitor statss that Gray, never engaged to play N Diggk, and that Gray repudiates any engagements purporting to be made on his behal* by John Roberts.
