ELECTION PETITION.
.*- THE EAST CORK SEAT. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 21st April. The East Cork election petition is being heard. A largti body of police has been drafted to tie city. In the Court Mr. Tim Healy, K.C., who is appearing for the petitioners, said the election was won by means of eleven bands, ten torchlights/ six hundred free railway tickets, two thousand free drinks, and two hundred and eighty--fouf meals. [At the general election in December last Captain A. J. C. Donelan (Nationalist) defeated Mr. W. O'Brien (Independent Nationalist) by 3173 votes to 1854. Mr. O'Brien also stood for Cork city, being returned at the top of the poll. Captain Donelan, who is a Protestanir, "and a man with many friends," is one of the Whips of the Nationalist party. At the genera! elections in 1892, 1895, 1900, 1906, and 1910 (January), ho was returned unopposed for East Cork,}
