Elth*m's population is 1737, an increase of 403. The populations of the Manaia and Waverley town districts are 626 (471 last census) and 546 (441 last census) respectively. < PMLDING, This Day. Census returns for Feilddng borough • show a population of 3163 (as against 2973 in 1906).; Oroua County 3582 (1906, 3698). A large residential portion of Feilding is outside the borough. DANNEVIRKE'S ENTERPRISE. *» [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DANNEVIRKE, This Day. The Borough Council last night accepted the tender of J. H. Fairhurst for the erection of a Town Hall. The council resolved to combine municipal offices with the building, and to go to the ratepayers with a proposal to raise a further loan of £2000.
