MCDOWELL.— On the 23rd February, 1911, Major James Fergusson McDowell, of Bluefields and Fincastle, Virginia, Major of the 11th Virginia Kegiment in the Civil War of the United States, cousin of James McDowell, Wellington; aged 78 years. I/EATHAM.— On the 18th April, at Wellington (suddenly), Charles Henry leatham, beloved 0 husband of Margaret Leatham, aged 65 years. His end was peace. OVEEEND.— On the 19th April, 1911. at East-bourne-street, Hastings, Alice, dearly beloved wife of William Overend, and daughter of the late Thomas Nisbit, of Nelson; aged 42 years. PARKER.— On the 21st April, 1911, ab the residence of her son and daughter, Uplandroad, Kelburne, Georgianna Parker, dearly beloved "wife of Crispin Parker, late of Haywards, Upper Hutt; aged 58 years.
