Th© amount of Customs duties collected at tho various ports of the Dominion during the year ended 31st ilarch last totalled £0,022,305 and the •excise duties to £123.636, making a grand total of £3.145.941, an increase of £572,503 over the figures for the previous year. The Customs duties collected at tho various ports during the financial 'year were as under : — ■
In addition £60,657 was collected upon, articles imported through parcels post. Tho various parts contributed to the excise duties as follows : —
