The conference declared in favour of free, secular, and compulsory education, avid condemned the efforts lo introduce the Bible in schools or denominational, grants. It was decided to urge Parliament to .impose an export duty of 3d per 1b hides, skins, and greasy wool. It wa6 agreed to hold the next conference in Wellington.
