SAVAGE ATTACK BY MR. CANNON.
A DEMOCRAT CAUSES SURPRISE. (Received April 20, 1.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, 19th April. Mr. Joseph Cannon, ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, savagely attacked the Reciprocity Bill. A Democratic representative, Mr. Gudgef, caused surprise by his criticism of the measure.
