LODGE MEETINGS.

Members of the Hope of Petone Lodge of Good Templars had a very pleasant time at the lodge rooms last evening. Bro. G. Rose presided, and there was a fair attendance of members. One new member was proposed, and two were initiated. During the evening musical items were rendered by the following : — Sisters Jobj Hooper, Garrett. Chllds, Baoumgreen, and Bros. Montgomery, Jones, Rose (2), and Robertson. Much interest is being shown by members in the election o'f 'officers, which takes place next" Wednesday, evenjng.
