ONSLOW BOROUGH.
This morning a deputation of Onslow Borough ratepayers waited upon Messrs. Sidney Stafford and Frederick Bates and Captain M'Arthur to request them to allow themselves to be nominated for the _ vacant "positions on the Onslow Borough Council. They agreed to stand, and they have been nominated as follows :—: — Captain M'Arthur, by Alex. Ferguson, C. C. Crump, M. P. Cameron, D. J. Waterim; E. S. Stafford, by F. C. Bnddle, C. C. Crump, T. S. Young, M. C. Smith- 3 F. Bates, by J. N. Grant, M. PrCameron, HI A. Kirkcaldie, J. Jleith.
