£B2 TELEQBAPH — PBZSS ASSOCIATION.} HAWERA, This Day. John Hunter, a tent hand at the circus, was convicted this morning of assault and imprisoned for b&vgd. days .without the option of a fine. The evidence ehowed that he went into a restaurant, and, without provocation, struck a man sitting at a table. Subsequently he returned and repeated the assault.
